Volunteers are seldom paid; not because they are
worthless, but because they are priceless. -Author Unknown

Volunteer Code of Conduct The
Trempealeau County Humane Society believes that it is important that all of
their volunteers follow a code of conduct which represents our values.
Our main values are:
- We believe in education as the tool to effect change. We educate
the public on issues affecting the well-being of animals
- We are strictly against violent behavior. Violence includes physical and verbal
attacks, and attacks on property.
- We require that all animals placed through us be spayed/neutered
- We believe that a safe shelter for stray/abandoned/abused cats, dogs, and other household
pets should be provided
- We promote the placement of animals through adoption and foster-care
- We work with the sheriff's department and Trempealeau county to
provide shelter and care for cats and dogs.
